Below you can find my inspirations for my very first Bolero jacket. Before the magic happens we always tailor-test everything with a specific cheap fabric called Molino. In Germany: Nessel. It has two good aspects if you do so:
1) you get the routine in order to sew the piece of clothes first &
2) you can write and mark all the necessary amendments.

The garment cut was taken from a vintage crop-top which I bought in London back in the days. I had the idea to sew a full croptop for my finished trousers completely out of my "Ausbrenner"(german) fabric which I bought in Vienna.
The straps are made out of them as well with a special "rolling-pull-through-technique".
The backside-shapes are the same as the ones from the Bolero jacket. The copper-borders are used as strong visual effects in order to contrast this specific cut from the rest of the material.
I tailored everything at home, as I love to sew a lot myself in my spare time. The sewing-machine is from my grandma as I inherited this lovely friend from her a couple of years ago after she died.
She loved to sew herself quie a lot, where I think I got my talent from.
The trousers (find images below) was the very second piece I did at this point after the "scale-dress". For me, it was very important to capture every moment of my working process in order to show my development.
This special piece of design has 4 pleats in total & a seam zipper at the backside. On both sides are broad copper streaks.
Bolero & trousers are made from the same textiles sois the crop top.
