Going up north of Sydney is the Australian version of a more tropical English Newcastle. The mind-blowing view coast along the coast while you walk past an abandoned bunker and some rock pools is just beyond stunning.

I was lucky enough to stay with a friendly couple in their private home. I love these kind of experiences when you are let in other people's homes and their friendliness and trust is very generous.

It really is enough to just walk threw this town or you take a hop-on-hop off bus in order to see all it's treasures.
