The brief / Displaying window design
The candle company always has difference themes in their displaying windows and interior designs for different seasons. This Sep. it was time to design their Winter-/ Christmas interior. The task was to draw a European Village in snow. he decorations should be displayed on both entrance sides. On the left side is a "circus scene" and on the right a european Village. Inside there is a table with a stand-up display surrounded by candles.
I was tried first to re-draw the architecture by hand
but found out soon that the easiest and quickest way
to redraw these architecture was in Illustrator as it
needed to be flexible in size later on as well which
means: It needs to be as a vector graphic and
redrawn in Illustrator anyways so you only have lines
and shapes to colour in.
